Learning How To Cook

We've just moved-in to our new house and ready to start family life. This means raising our daughter (and future kid/s), saving for their future, doing household chores, preparing for home improvement and cooking "yummy" meals.

Cooking. This i have to learn. My sister is a good cook. Maybe she inherited it from my maternal grandmother who run a restaurant before in the province. Now is the time to know if it also runs in my blood. On the other side, my mother-in-law is also fond of cooking sumptuous Filipino meals that my hubby loves. Now that's challenging. I know hubby's excited to learn too :)

I know how to cook breakfast meals ('coz that's simply frying) and pasta. What I wanna start with are Filipino dishes such as Sinigang, Nilaga, Kare-Kare, Adobo, etc. And maybe experiment in gourmet or specialty foods.

I'm excited! Successful or not, I'm ready to share my cooking in this blog :)

  1. Hi Erlaine, try the recipes on http://www.bettycrocker.com/ when it comes to pasta, salads and cookies - they're usually pretty good on the first try.
